“As you have sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.”

“Father, as we have been reminded of Your great love for us through the gift of Your Son Jesus; as we have revisited the power of His suffering, death and resurrection – we are overwhelmed by the salvation that has come into our lives through faith and we are challenged by the calling You have given us to go into the world with the message of the Gospel.

 Forgive us today for falling prey to the temptation of Satan to love the approval of men more than seeing Your glory manifest in the world. Forgive us for fearing what people could do to us more than trusting the awesome working of Your power in us and through us.

  We repent of our slackness and ask You to renew a passion deep within us to see Your Kingdom come and Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. You have sent us into the world on Your behalf and You are with us, even to the end of the age. May we seek today only what pleases You – in the name of the Risen Lord Jesus – Amen.”
