If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You to claim Your promise from II Chronicles 7:14. We are Your people. We are called by Your name. We come with a desire to humble ourselves before You in worship and praise of Your greatness. Create in us a spirit of humility. Search our hearts and know our thoughts, reveal our sin. As we see our sins, we will confess them today before Your throne of mercy and forgiveness.

Touch our lips with coals of cleansing from Your altar that we may pray prayers that accomplish much for our lives, our families, our communities and our nation. We seek your healing for our land. In the strong name of Jesus – Amen.
