Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Father, You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. In You rests allknowledge and wisdom and You have made your mind and heart known to us through Your written Word and through Your Son, Jesus. We pray to be brought to a unity of faith and knowledge in Jesus, that we may join our hearts and hands before Your throne on behalf of our land.

Remove from us any selfishness and pride that would set itself up as a stronghold in our lives and renew a steadfast spirit within us that we may together seek Your face and live to bring glory to Your name. We seek Your face in the name of Your Son and our Savior, Jesus – Amen.
